My legal career began in 1994, with the Nevada Attorney General where I was assigned to the Telemarketing and Consumer Fraud unit. While serving as a Deputy Attorney General for the next three years, I worked with the investigative branch to prepare cases for prosecution. At the request of the Attorney General, I supported community relationships and served as a liaison between the senior community and the Attorney General.

In 1997, I was deputized as a Special Assistant United States Attorney based in the District of Columbia. While there, I participated in a trial advocacy program for federal prosecutors where I became a skilled litigator.

In 1998, I returned to Las Vegas and practiced family law until 2014, when I made a decision to teach elementary school. After completing a CCSD training program, I attended UNLV working towards a Masters in Education. For the next three and one-half years, I taught 1st grade math and science in Title I schools where I served “at risk” communities.

In 2019, I opened my law firm, where I practice, exclusively, family law. For experienced, ethical, and exceptional representation, turn to the Law Office of Shelley Lubritz, PLLC.

What to bring to your first meeting
