For over two decades, I have represented employees in labor and employment matters, with a focus on plaintiff-side advocacy and practical results. I handle cases from start to finish, including EEO issues, compliance-related concerns, internal investigations, and employment litigation in state, federal, and appellate courts. My practice also includes ADR, where I help clients pursue resolution through mediation or other processes when it makes sense, as well as executive counseling and coaching for professionals dealing with workplace conflict, discipline, negotiations, or growth opportunities. Clients often come to me after losing a job, but just as often they come while still employed and looking for strategic guidance on how to protect their position and advance their career. I take a close, collaborative approach and fight hard for fair outcomes, while staying grounded in what is realistic and effective. I pride myself on integrity and on taking cases that others may pass over. I also have extensive experience working with and litigating against government agencies, and I understand the unique rules that apply in the public sector, including civil service law, grievance procedures, workforce analysis, and city, state, and federal civil rights compliance.
