About Steven D. Henry
Mr. Henry is the founder and senior attorney of The Henry Law Firm, P.A. He specifically created the firm in 2008 as a means to provide the highest level of commitment and dedication to the various Kansas family law matters of the firm's clients.
Prior to founding the firm, Mr. Henry worked as a senior attorney in Kansas City, Kansas for a state-wide non-profit, public interest law firm dedicated to assisting low income Kansans with essential legal services in the areas of family law, bankruptcy law, and social security disability law. Mr. Henry's extensive case load required his representation of clients before the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Kansas, the Social Security Administration, and in various Kansas state district courts, inclusive of Kansas courts located in the counties of Johnson, Wyandotte, Leavenworth, Franklin, Miami, and Linn. Mr. Henry supervised the legal work of pro bono attorneys, and took special delight in mentoring the work of law school students serving in an internship/externship capacity.

During law school, Mr. Henry distinguished himself by placing first in the annual Washburn Law School Negotiation Competition, was a member of the law school's Honor Code Committee, and actively participated as an officer in the law school's Student Bar Association.
Mr. Henry's earlier education includes a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Kansas, in which he is listed in The National Dean's List, 1999-2000, an award limited to ½ of 1% of the nation's top college students.
