Susan J. Recognized by American Lawyer Media as a “Woman Leader in the Law,” Ms. Smith has practiced family law for over thirty years and established herself as one of the top divorce and child custody attorneys in both Bucks County and southeastern Pennsylvania. She has been honored as a “Woman of the Year” by the Bucks County Bar Association and she is annually named to the list of Pennsylvania Super Lawyers, a designation limited to just 5 percent of attorneys in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Susan is honored annually in the national “Lawdragon 500” list, which highlights the country’s top attorneys for family and matrimonial law. She has also been selected by her peers in the industry as one of the “Ten Leaders" for matrimonial and divorce law in the Greater Philadelphia region.

Susan, in successfully and amicably managing Williams Family Law alongside her former husband, Jeffrey Williams, is exceptionally adept at helping clients work through the complexities of dissolving a marriage and negotiating for financial assets, support, custody and more.

Prior to joining Williams Family Law in 2016, Ms. Smith was a partner in the Bucks County office of a national law firm. She is admitted to the Pennsylvania bar and is a member of both the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Bucks County Bar Association.

Ms. Smith earned her undergraduate degree at Gwynedd-Mercy University before going on to earn her Juris Doctor from the Dickinson School of Law at Penn State University.

When she is not practicing law, Ms. Smith enjoys spending time with her family, watching Philly sports, and enjoying the outdoors. She is also a member of the Bucks County Historical Society Board of Trustees, the private non-profit organization that operates the Mercer Museum, Spruance Library and Fonthill Museum.
