He also meets the Qualifications for Defense Counsel in Capital Cases (Death Penalty) pursuant to Rule 801. A lifetime resident of Blair County, Attorney Dickey realizes the importance of supporting our local youth in obtaining their goals. He supports the community through sponsorship of many youth sports programs, including football, baseball, basketball, and hockey. In addition, he speaks to local school children about our legal system during Blair County Law Days. He has also judged many high school mock trial competitions. Dickey believes in continued education, and has taught criminal law, legal research and domestic relations through the Penn State Altoona campus.
