Timothy J. Fogarty

Timothy J. Fogarty offers more than 25 years of experience in insurance defense, handling arbitrations, mediations, and civil litigation of toxic tort, environmental law, and product liability matters. He represents large engineering firms and national manufacturing defendants in personal injury cases involving minor injuries to quadriplegics and wrongful death. Tim emphasizes proactive motion practice and negotiation techniques to resolve matters early and cost efficiently. Tim received his Bachelor of Science in Rhetoric from the University of California at Berkeley, graduating with Highest Honors. He is a member of the State Bar of California and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court, Northern and Eastern Districts of California. He received his Juris Doctor from the Arizona State University School of Law, where he was a recipient of an American Jurisprudence Award in Contracts. Some of his recent achievements include: obtaining a voluntary dismissal for an international manufacturing firm after filing his motion for summary judgment in a personal injury asbestos action; defending a leading architectural firm in a $6 million water intrusion and mold abatement case by aggressively arguing statute of limitations defenses, and; obtaining a dismissal of all claims against a major nutritional supplement manufacturer in a product liability action based on allegations of toxic contamination.
