Timothy Joseph Kooy

Timothy obtained a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley, and a J.D. from Golden Gate University, San Francisco. Timothy is licensed to practice in California and has been an active member of the California State Bar since 1987. He is admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit, and the United States District Court for the Eastern, Northern and Southern Districts. Timothy has a BV rating with Martindate-Hubbell.

During Timothy’s extensive twenty-eight years of practice, he has litigated and tried cases in both state and federal courts. During the course of his practice, Timothy has tried an excess of thirty bench trials, almost all of them resulted in favorable decisions.

Timothy’s practice consists exclusively of litigation since his admission to the bar. At present, it includes complex litigation, probate and trust litigation and planning, fiduciary abuse, business and commercial disputes, professional negligence, toxic tort, real estate, and commercial landlord-tenant disputes.
