Todd E. Slonim

Todd is a founding partner at Euroa Law Group in Toronto, Ontario. His practice focuses on Family Law and includes representing individuals and families in a wide range of matters such as separation, divorce, parenting arrangements, and property division. Todd has appeared before courts across Ontario and works with clients to address both straightforward and complex family law disputes.

In addition to litigation, Todd encourages the use of Alternative Dispute Resolution to help families resolve legal issues outside of court when appropriate. He regularly works with clients through mediation, arbitration, and collaborative processes that can provide a more structured and private setting for resolving family law matters.

Todd is trained in Collaborative Practice and promotes this approach as a constructive option for families who wish to reach agreements respectfully and with a focus on long‑term stability. Collaborative family law allows parties and their legal counsel to work together toward practical and cost‑conscious solutions that prioritize the well‑being of children and families.

As an accredited family law mediator, Todd assists parties in working through disputes and identifying workable resolutions. His mediation approach emphasizes clear communication, practical problem‑solving, and helping participants move toward mutually acceptable outcomes.

Todd also serves as a parenting coordinator, assisting families with the interpretation and implementation of parenting agreements or court orders. In this role, he works with parents to address ongoing concerns, reduce conflict, and support child‑focused decision‑making when issues arise.

Todd received his B.A. in Communication Studies from the University of Calgary. During his time there, he produced a documentary film that received the Best Human Interest Documentary award at the North West International Film Festival in 1999. He later attended Cardiff Law School in Wales, where he completed his LL.B. Todd continued his legal studies at Dalhousie Law School before returning to Toronto to complete his articles with a family law firm. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 2005.
