Tom M. McCrory III

Tom M. McCrory III hails from Dallas, Texas, where he was born and raised. He completed his undergraduate studies at Baylor University in Waco, Texas, and graduated in 1967 with a B.B.A. degree. He then pursued his legal education at Baylor Law School, earning a J.D. (Juris Doctorate) in 1970. During his time at Baylor University, Mr. McCrory actively participated in social and legal fraternities.

After returning to Dallas, Mr. McCrory served as general counsel to a banking institution for a decade. In 1980, he ventured into private practice as an attorney. He is licensed by the State Bar of Texas since 1970 and is authorized to practice before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas since 1974. Over the years, Mr. McCrory has contributed to the legal community as a member of various organizations such as the Dallas Trial Lawyers Association. He has also served on committees including the Dallas Bar Association Judiciary Committee, Courthouse Committee, Legal Ethics Committee, and Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee (now a part of the State Bar of Texas) during the period of 1970-1980. Currently, he remains an active member of the Personal Injury, Business, Family and Probate, Trust sections since 2014. Additionally, Mr. McCrory is a member of the State Bar of Texas sections on Personal Injury/Litigation, Family Law, Real Estate, and Probate and Trust since 2002. He has been recognized in Who's Who In American Law and holds an 'AV' peer review rating, the highest rating achievable with Martindale-Hubbell. In 1992, he obtained a real estate broker license.

With regards to his legal experience, Mr. McCrory specializes in Personal Injury & Wrongful Death cases. His work has encompassed various scenarios such as vehicle rollovers, falls from vertical elevators, automobile collisions, slip and falls in grocery stores, shootings at restaurants, pedestrian accidents involving SUVs, employee injuries caused by suspended structures, door incidents on loading elevators, and sliding glass door accidents at retail establishments, among others.

In the realm of Business Law, Mr. McCrory's expertise originates from his tenure as general counsel for a prominent Dallas financial institution, which later became Chase Bank. His litigation experience in commercial and real estate matters involves cases related to loan agreements, employee embezzlement, fraud and breach of fiduciary duty by partners, promissory note disputes, breach of employment contracts, breach of non-compete agreements, dissolution of partnerships, recovery of commissions owed to investors, and retrieval of funds from fraudulent investments, among numerous others.

Furthermore, Mr. McCrory has handled litigation concerning Real Estate, Probate, Trusts, and Guardianships.
