About Tom M. McCrory III
Tom M. McCrory III hails from Dallas, Texas, where he was born and raised. He completed his undergraduate studies at Baylor University in Waco, Texas, and graduated in 1967 with a B.B.A. degree. He then pursued his legal education at Baylor Law School, earning a J.D. (Juris Doctorate) in 1970. During his time at Baylor University, Mr. McCrory actively participated in social and legal fraternities.
After returning to Dallas, Mr. McCrory served as general counsel to a banking institution for a decade. In 1980, he ventured into private practice as an attorney. He is licensed by the State Bar of Texas since 1970 and is authorized to practice before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas since 1974. Over the years, Mr. McCrory has contributed to the legal community as a member of various organizations such as the Dallas Trial Lawyers Association. He has also served on committees including the Dallas Bar Association Judiciary Committee, Courthouse Committee, Legal Ethics Committee, and Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee (now a part of the State Bar of Texas) during the period of 1970-1980. Currently, he remains an active member of the Personal Injury, Business, Family and Probate, Trust sections since 2014. Additionally, Mr. McCrory is a member of the State Bar of Texas sections on Personal Injury/Litigation, Family Law, Real Estate, and Probate and Trust since 2002. He has been recognized in Who's Who In American Law and holds an 'AV' peer review rating, the highest rating achievable with Martindale-Hubbell. In 1992, he obtained a real estate broker license.
