Tomi Akinyemi

Babatomiwa (Tomi) Akinyemi concentrates his practice on complex commercial real estate transactions that utilize tax credit financing nationwide. Tomi represents investors, lenders, Community Development Entities (CDEs), and project owners on compliance matters involving Historic Tax Credits and New Market Tax Credits.

My focus

In my practice, I advise borrowers, lenders, and developers on a variety of matters including, real estate finance, acquisitions, dispositions, and due diligence, as well as leasing of industrial, commercial, multifamily, and mixed-use properties. My work includes drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various contracts and conducting the necessary due diligence to ensure transactions run smoothly and efficiently while meeting client expectations.
