William B. "Bill" Collins

William B. Collins is the owner of the firm. He has been practicing law since 1982, representing people for serious personal injuries throughout the United States. He is admitted to the State Bar of four separate states: New York, Florida, Michigan and West Virginia. His successful litigation in venues throughout the country attests to his ability to perform at the highest level anywhere and under any circumstances. He takes special interest in complex industrial and commercial negligence, including explosions, chemical exposure, product failure and unsafe work practices.

Bill graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo and Cum Laude from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in the top ten of his class. He is a member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the American Bar Association. In addition to his rating as an outstanding lawyer by Super Lawyers, Bill is also a member of The Nation Trial Lawyers Top 100. He has secured clients numerous multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements, including verdicts of $33 million for an ironworker and $32 million for a roofer.

During the last 10 years, Bill has focused his practice on industrial injuries with a special concentration on handling traumatic brain injury cases. His personal philosophy expresses his dedication to his profession and clients: “I think the cards are stacked against the average working man and woman.
