About William E. Boyes
Bill Boyes has been Board Certified by the Florida Bar in Wills, Trusts and Estates for more than 30 years, and has been AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell for over 35 years. Board Certification is the single highest individual honor achievable by member attorneys of the Florida Bar. Less than one-third of one percent of all Florida lawyers are Board Certified in Wills, Trusts and Estates. A Florida Super Lawyer for 13 consecutive years, Mr. Boyes is also a Fellow of the prestigious American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) and has been a member of the ACTEC Fiduciary Litigation Committee since 1997. For over four decades, Bill Boyes has assisted clients in developing estate plans and administrating complex trusts and estates. He also represents clients in estate, trust and guardianship litigation and U.S. Tax Court controversies, including handling all aspects of disputes with the IRS.
Mr. Boyes earned his Juris Doctor at the Mercer University, Walter F. George School of Law in Macon, Georgia. He is admitted to practice in Florida and New Jersey, the United States District Court District of New Jersey, United States District Court Middle District of Florida, United States District Court Northern District of Florida, United States District Court Southern District of Florida, United States Tax Court, and the United States Court of Federal Claims. Mr. Boyes has been a competitive athlete all his life, primarily basketball and tennis, where he excelled in both. Bill has also fulfilled his love of sports with a passion for all things baseball, having attended several major league fantasy camps. A devoted husband, father and grandfather, Mr. Boyes is an active member of the South Florida and greater Palm Beaches legal, business and civic landscape.
