William Lemega

Mr. Lemega is a principal and the managing partner for the firm’s Morristown office, as well as a shareholder of the firm. He is an alumnus of the University of Scranton and New England Law – Boston. Following law school, he completed a one-year judicial clerkship for the Honorable Thomas J. Critchley, Jr., J.S.C., in the Morris County Superior Court, Family Part. Since then, Mr. Lemega has devoted his private practice exclusively to matrimonial and family law matters.

As a skilled trial attorney, Mr. Lemega concentrates his practice on complex matrimonial and family law cases. He is dedicated to providing comprehensive and high-quality legal representation, employing litigation strategies designed to achieve optimal outcomes for his clients, even in cases involving intense acrimony.

Mr. Lemega holds the distinguished designation of Certified Matrimonial Attorney by the Supreme Court of New Jersey, a recognition achieved by only 2% of attorneys in the state. He has been selected for inclusion on the New Jersey Super Lawyers Rising Stars list for Family Law every year since 2018. Additionally, he was named a Top Lawyer in Morris County by Morris/Essex Health & Life Magazine in 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023, and included among the 10 Best Attorneys for Exceptional and Outstanding Client Service by the American Institute of Family Law Attorneys.

Mr. Lemega is admitted to practice in the State of New Jersey and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey. He is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Bar Association, the New Jersey Bar Association, the Morris County Bar Association, the Somerset County Bar Association, where he serves as a Trustee, and the Morris County Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Lemega also contributes as a Panelist on the Early Settlement Panels for Morris, Hunterdon, and Somerset Counties. In 2018, he was appointed by the Supreme Court of New Jersey to the District Ethics Committee for Hunterdon, Somerset, and Warren Counties (DEC XIII)
