Katherine A. Chesnut has devoted her legal career to the practice of matrimonial and family law. Prior to joining BodnarMilone, Katherine was at a boutique matrimonial law firm in Manhattan. Through her client-centered approach, Katherine counsels her clients based on their unique needs and goals and tailors her representation to their attainable specific objectives. Katherine has broad experience representing clients in a variety of matters, including those involving custody, support, distribution of assets, prenuptial and post-nuptial agreements, enforcement and modification proceedings, and appeals. Although Katherine will assiduously seek to settle a case without the need for litigation, she will not hesitate to vigorously litigate a matter when required and has extensive experience representing clients in Supreme and Family Court.

Katherine was admitted to practice law in the State of New York in 2013. She earned her J.D. cum laude from Fordham University School of Law in 2012 and her B.A. summa cum laude from American University in 2008. Katherine is a member of the Family Law Sections of the New York State Bar Association and the Westchester County Bar Association, and the Matrimonial Committee of the Westchester Women’s Bar Association.
